Terms & Conditions - Brighton Metropole Court
**CONFERENCE, BUSINESS AND EXHIBITION TENANCIES WILL BE
BASED ON PEAK SEASON CHARGES.
**PEAK SEASON RATES ARE ALSO APPLICABLE TO CHRISTMAS, NEW
YEAR AND EASTER WEEKS.
INCLUSIVE PRICES
The above prices are fully inclusive covering the consumption of
electricity and the supply of hot water to the kitchens and bathrooms
and are not subject to VAT. With the obvious exception of food and
beverages, there are no hidden extras to pay.
DISCOUNT
Bookings of three consecutive weeks will qualify for a 5% discount,
four weeks 10%, and eight weeks or more 15%, but will not apply
during the Peak Season.
SURCHARGES
Each apartment is capable of accommodating up to one or two extra
persons to that quoted above in reasonable comfort on a metal action
sofa bed in the lounge for which there will be a weekly surcharge
of £75.00 for one and £100.00 for two.
DEPOSIT
A holding deposit of 20% is payable immediately the formal reservation
is made and whilst a separate refundable damage deposit is not required,
tenants are respectfully asked to look after the property and its
contents and to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state
for the benefit of incoming guests. However, the Landlord reserves
the right to charge for any damage or missing articles beyond the
normally accepted degree of 'wear and tear' which equally applies
to lost keys (£10.00 per set).
FULL PAYMENT
The outstanding balance for the full period of the Tenancy must
be paid at least four weeks prior to occupation and for long term
occupancy the rent can be paid by four weekly instalments four weeks
in advance.
OTHER CONDITIONS
There is an inclusive cleaning service prior to arrival and thereafter
on a weekly basis when there will be a change of all household linen.
The apartments will be available for occupation
from 3.00pm on the applicable day of arrival and must be vacated
by 10.00am on the applicable day of departure.
In order to avoid any inconvenience or annoyance
to the other occupants of Metropole Court, no noisy activities are
allowed on the premises as the apartments are strictly for residential
purposes only.
Tenants are requested to sensibly economise on
the use of electricity and particularly to avoid overloading the
night storage system, which can automatically cut out until the
Electricity Board manually resets it.
Although the apartments are fully equipped including
all household linen, bathers are asked to bring their own swimming
towels, as NOTHING MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES.
Providing full payment has been made, the keys
will be left in a named, sealed envelope at the Porters Desk for
collection which is opposite reception in the main Hotel foyer.
Finally, tenants are advised to take out their
own insurance to cover unavoidable cancellation. In such an event
the whole deposit will be forfeited, and if the balance has been
paid this will be refunded subject to the apartment being re-let
to another tenant, less any shortfall, which may be difficult to
achieve at short notice.
